Abstract

The objective of this study is to evaluate the children mortality in the year 2019 in the province of San Juan, Argentina, before the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite significant advancements in scientific and healthcare matters, including maternal and child health services, the death of the children, specifically those under one year old, remains a significant issue affecting this population group both in the national and provincial territory. To achieve this, data obtained electronically from government vital statistics were utilized, and the results consisted of spatial and graphical representation of the data, along with its analysis, aimed at contributing to the implementation of healthcare measures in the province.
