The study of the Formosan Urban Landscape through Documentary Sources

Abstract

This research work is framed in the documentary sources, historiographic discourse and didactics applications. The teaching of history and local-regional geography in Formosa between 1879-1955, accredited by the General Secretariat of Research and Technology, National University of Formosa, Code 54/H 134 is focused on developing proposals to teach local and regional geography, following the research of the increase of the population in the territory of Formosa (1879-1955), cartographies, photographs from that period with a view to developing the different capacities of students.
