Abstract

This text aims to address the theme of agricultural exploitation and its relationship with
the employment of children and adolescents within them, using data from the National
Agricultural Census of the years 2018 and its counterpart from 2002. The objective of this work
is to make the work of NNyA at several national and provincial agricultural exploitations visible,
analyzing the phenomena that indicate their decrease or increase, contrasting census data
with relevant literature in each case. In this sense, emphasis will be placed on analyzing the
different variables presented within both censuses.
The study shows a decrease in the population of children and adolescents within
agricultural exploitations, which also shows a notable decrease. However, focusing on a
provincial perspective, we can denote a process of de-agrarianization, accompanied by a
simultaneous process of des-campesinización.
