The present study focuses on the ceramic altarpiece of Saint Isabel of Hungary (1997), work of art made by Maria Luisa “Tachoy” Kerr de Godo, located in the intersection of 25 de Mayo Avenue and Mitre street in the city centre of Formosa. The iconographic composition
and the artistic genre are analysed highlighting its aesthetic and religious purpose in the urban space.
