Abstract

This work presents a current issue which is becoming more and more visible worldwide but it is still a challenge for the majority of small and medium-sized enterprises. The Corporate Social Responsibility has evolved widening the scope, from their closest groups of interest to the concept of sustainable development, which includes the people, the economies and the ecosystems with a view to the future. Companies are turning to a more human and committed view. The job has involved from working the Social Responsibility to making Small and Medium-Sized Companies to become key actors in the sustainable development, which allows the development and consolidation of business opportunities.
