Case Study: Implementation of a Tourist Circuit in the Rural Area of Laguna Blanca-Formosa

Abstract

The present study is a case study carried out in the town of Laguna Blanca as a proposal to implement a tourist circuit in the rural area. The research was part of a project in the Bachelor’s degree training course in Tourism. The field of study comprised the practice field of the Instituto Universitario de Formosa and the Provincial Agrotechnical School No 1 “Combate San Lorenzo”. The general objective is to develop a proposal to implement the tourist circuit in the rural area of the town of Laguna Blanca. The specific objectives are identifying the resources available in the area studied, establishing the type and the characteristics of the activities to be carried out and designing a circuit based on the suggested activities. The methodology comprised bibliography revision, case studies, similar projects and fieldwork in situ to create the tourist product, the infrastructure and the equipment necessary to develop the activities. The significance of the application of this product is the potential application to other geographical spaces with similar characteristics.
